A:  Hi Christina! The 1-1/4" Ratcheting PVC cutter will cut almost all PVC up to 1-14" in inside diameter, however if the wall is thicker than schedule 40 PVC you may have trouble getting a good cut. The PEX and Flexible tubing cutter will cut PEX, Vinyl, and Flexible tubing up to 1-58" Outside Diameter but we would not recommend an anvil type cutter for a thick walled application. I would recommend the 2" Ratcheting PVC Cutter, sku # 1003002591 if you would like to look it up at Homedepot.com, this contains a larger ratcheting mechanism and may handle your thicker wall needs. It may take the use of both hands but it should get the job done. Final option would be a PVC saw. Hope this helps!!
