A: Thank you for reaching out to us, Davidd. To replace the push-button switch and decorative ring, you need to remove the part that holds the button in the sink. A: Hi Mark, thanks for the question. The SinkTop Switch Button only includes the button and cover (the SinkTop Cover is the piece that goes around the sink top switch button). If you already have the InSinkErator SinkTop Switch Kit and you want to replace the button finish, this can be used. For best results, we recommend you use InSinkErator parts and accessories with InSinkErator units.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Gabrielle, we appreciate your inquiry. We don't test our products for compatibility with other manufacturers' parts, so we can't guarantee the expected performance when used together. However, if our product manual doesn't say otherwise, there shouldn't be any issues if the part is installed correctly. But please note that any non-recommended modifications may impact the product's safety, use, or performance and may void the warranty.
