Q:Does this have a "set time" like other products; 8 - 12 hours?

Answer This Question

A:  No, this product is designed to work in the drain field to loosen the soil around the drain tile/pipes. Which will improve outflow into the drain field. I used the 6 bottles according to the directions over 2 years ago. It worked as promised and saved me from having to replace my drain field! Plus, it's "GUARANTEED" to work!

A:  I don't know that it has a "set time" to grow the bacteria to break down the solids and junk but I do know it saved us almost $20,000. We paved over our entire backyard including the septic tank and then it started leaking, not good at all. The neighbors connected to the city for a price but we would have had to pay the city tons of money then the paving people to rix it all. I bought cases of this product and after several months.... boom... problem gone and everything is fine. I'm sure prior tenants (we had just bought the house) had put down handi wipes or who knows what. First of all everyone said we covered over the drain field with the paving stones and we weren't too smart. Bottom line; I bought a few cases online and used one gallon every 2 weeks or so... and next thing you know problem solved. I still have several gallons but now that everything is biologically in synch...... I don't do anything anymore, it's a great product.

A:  No use 2 gallons. It works immediately.

A:  Yes, the longer you let your system rest the better the results. Pour it down the toilet and go out of town for the weekend.

      by|May 24, 2019

A:  No, we just pour it in and continue water use as usual, although I wouldn't do a whole bunch of laundry at first. The point is to get it distributed to the field lines.

A:  Thanks for contacting Instant Power! Yes, you can pour this down the toilet. Depending on where the clog is, you may want to pour into another drain close to your toilet. Treat daily until you you see a noticeable difference. This is a bacterial product, so it takes time to work. If you need additional help please call 1-800-613-4242.

A:  Add 1 gallon directly to the leach line and a gallon to the tank. Extra cant hurt. It’s cheaper by the case. Go out of town for the weekend so it can work. Give it a break. It’s worth the wait.

A:  Add it to the tank, not the fields. Your filter is at the outlet of the tank. This product goes in the inlet side of the tank. Follow directions and flush it down the toilet.

A:  Leave the filters in. This product will help clean the filters. But remember try to use before you go to bed. You want it to sit in your lines to brake down any problems that you might not know about.

A:  It is not necessary to remove the filter. If you could pour it directly in your septic tank or the lines leading out to your field That would be good enough. Otherwise just flush it down the toilet but it is not necessary to remove your filter . Only remove your filter once a year to clean it with a garden hose and then put it back in place .

A:  I wouldn't think a filter would be a problem. It is water soluble and should have no problem. It may even help the filter.

A:  Yes although I wasn’t impressed as bathroom sinks seem to have hair so I prefer Drano. I have used it in bathtub traps. Actually what it does a good job on is garbage disposals! Great for cleaning them and deodorizing. I just pour some in at night, run the disposal for a few seconds, put the stopper on the opening as it has to sit without running water. Wake up in the morning and my disposal is clean and smells like lemons.

Add to septic tank and allow to work normally. This will work if sludge is the problem. Most important is don't be in a hurry and use as much shock as you can afford. Its cheaper by the case ordered online at HD. If your system is not flowing due to hardpan or case hardening try a product called septic -flow shock. Follow the directions. Septic - flow shock worked for me when others didnt. Buy at least 6 gallons. Good luck
