Q:Does this work well on asphalt. I need to clean dust/dirt off of a parking lot

A:  Hi Jimbo! Thanks for reaching out! Yes, this works well on asphalt, as long as the asphalt as not at an uneven pitch. The S 650 works best on even surfaces. I hope this helps! Karl from Customer Care.

    A:  Yes you can use it for dirt and sawdust as long as the sawdust is not in big piles The brushes might get clogged with sawdust because it sometimes sticks together. It should work It picks up dirt on the road and driveway.

      A:  Yes, it will work nicely. It doesn't do well with large debris like sticks and leaves. They get stuck in the brushes.

          A:  Yes, it’s very good at picking up sand and fine dirt. I use mine after the street sweeper comes by to pickup the fine dirt it leaves behind

              A:  Yes that is what we have used them for a lot. You just need to pick up any shrink wrap and larger pieces of wood first.

                A:  Yes, it should. I do Sidewalks and driveway with it and does a pretty good job. I love it! Better than using a blower on the driveway. No dust.

                        A:  Dear The Home Depot customer, yes, the S650 will pick up pet hair on a rubber floor. Please keep in mind that you may need to make more than one pass as the bristles on the side and main brush roller are not fine bristles.                                 A:  I’ve basically used it in my warehouse and it does a fairly nice job. I’ve never used it on a lawn but even if it worked it would fill with dead grass and leaves faster than you can dump it. Would not recommend for that purpose.

                                  A:  Never tried it on the lawn. I don’t think it would work because the back brush is very low to the ground to pickup material and I think it would chop up the lawn

                                    A:  I don’t know since I never used it on a carpet. The only thing I could say is that the carpet would make the sweeper hard to push or not move at all.
