Q:The depth of my cutout is 20 1/2". Will adding the trim kit make it flush rather than sticking out? I don't see dimensions of the trim kit.

A:  Learley, the recommended cutout depth for this unit is 21 3/4". The unit would not sit flush in the cutout you have provided. We hope this helps!

              A:  Yes. We had ours stop working within 6 months. The service tech Kitchen Aid had us use was out 4 times never could repair it. KitchenAid rep said it was out of warranty but we could buy an extended warranty for over $1,000 that wouldn't start for 1 year.

                  A:  Hello custom1. The Cutout Depth (in) 21 3/4, Cutout Height (in) 17 5/8, Cutout Width (in) 22 1/4 and the dimensions are Depth 21 1/4", Height 17 7/8", Width 23 3/4". So there is a small overlap.
