A: The cavity in the bit holder is longer to accommodate Klein's double-ended bits. A standard 1" x 1/4" bit is too short for the bit holder.
The following replacement bits are available: cat. no. 32482 (#1 Phillips and 3/16 in. slotted), cat. no. 32483 (#2 Phillips and 1/4 in. slotted), cat. no. 32484 (#1 square and #2 square), and cat. no. 32485 (T10 TORX and T15 TORX)

A: Good timing. I have had the magnetic 11-in-1 and broke the small flat head. Today, I decided to get another one. Instead, TODAY, I purchased the non-magnetic one because of the issue that. Changing the bits on the magnetic driver was tough. I thought that it would get easier in time. It didn’t.

A: It?s better than having to pick up lose bits that are constantly falling on the ground. I wipe mine with a very light coating of mineral once every month or two to help keep bits from sticking.

A: Just bought this after a number of non-magnetic ones. I was able to switch ends without too much trouble, despite the stiffness. The shafts tend to loosen up over time.

A: Yes, Home Depot customer service desk will ask you to bring a matching new one and they’ll swap on the spot. Any Klein dealer will honor it, no matter where you bought it. I’ve heard some say they don’t like to if you cut live wires but I’ve still had them swap that too.

A: You would have to ask Home Depot about their policies

A: Hi Andy. HD forwarded your comment to me because I have one of these multi tools. It's a nice tool but as you know, the nut drivers double as bit holders so I expect it would be difficult to make them magnetic since they need to be deep enough to hold the other bits. I'm not sure how they could do both but i agree, its a nice idea.
