A:  I have had the same issue with this product.  In addition to this it takes a long time to refill the tank after flushing

A:  These are very quiet valves. The only reason they would leak or spray water out of the top is it has been damaged or there is sand clogging the shutoff.

A:  The one I ordered that the minimum height is 7 3/4 inches. The one I received that the minimum length is 8.4 inches. Very frustrated.

A:  I had a similar issue. What I did is adjust the water valve from the wall to the toilet to adjust the water speed and amount. Mine was too low. Once I increased the water speed/amount, the noise went away and it quickly filled.

A:  While the tank is mostly empty, grab the top of the valve and twist counter-clockwise. This will unlock it so you can make your height adjustment. Pulling up will increase the water level. Pushing down will decrease the water level. Once you have things adjusted to your satisfaction, twist the top of the valve clockwise to lock it again. A:  The float is inside the top part. It moves up and down on the tube to set the "full" level shutoff. The tank may have a inscribed mark of the back to indicate fill level.
