A:  Yes. The fan can be set up to vent to an outside exhaust or inside. Before you install you will physically need to install the fan in a certain direction to exhaust where you want.

A:  It can be vented either outside or inside. In able to vent outside existing duct work needs to be available. Simple procedure to rotate exhaust fan.

A:  OTR microwave LMHM2237ST can be vented n one of three ways; Roof, Wall or Room venting. However, do not vent into a wall cavity, an attic, or an unused area. The ductwork you need for outside ventilation is not included with your oven. In addition to outside venting, the unit can be vented. ^Daphane

They are designed for installation between your upper kitchen cabinets that have a minimum opening width of 30" between them. A:  The LG 2.2 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMHM2237BD is designed to operate on a Standard 120V/60Hz household outlet. Be sure the circuit is at least 15A or 20A and the microwave oven is the only appliance on the circuit. It is not designed for 50Hz or any circuit other than a 120V/60Hz circuit...^Ivan

A:  The cutout height is 17.94 inches and the cutout width from left to right is 30 inches.

It is shipped from the factory with the blower assembled for roof-venting. You would need to adjust the blower if you want wall-venting or room-venting installation...^Ivan

A:  The metal rack for the LG 2.2 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMHM2237ST is specially designed for this microwave oven and it attaches to plastic or rubber clips on the sides of the oven, out of contact with other metal in the microwave that could cause it to become reactive. As long as the rack does not touch the walls or floor of the microwave, no arcing or warping will occur. It is safe to use because the metal used for the rack is tuned to the metal in the microwave cavity...^Ivan

A:  I'm sorry, I am just a customer who is a private individual. I would suggest going to LG direct. You will need the model # and serial # when looking it all up. If you are near a "Tribles" store, they may be able to order it. Once you have the clips, have the person that diagnosed the problem to the clip replace it. It is possible that LG, if called, may have a repair section.

A:  I have the same problem with my extend a vent microwave. It wont stay closed. I tried calling for service and was not successful. Since others have the same problem I would not buy an LG again. Seems LG should come out and fix free since it seems it was a design flaw.

A:  Maybe. My tile backsplash extended above the bottom mounting location for the microwave, and the installation team was instructed not to proceed, so I wound up having to install it myself.
