Answer This Question

A:  As far as I can tell, no. This is something I was curious about too. I’ve only had it for about a month so maybe I just don’t know how to do that if it is possible.

A:  Conventional roast is great for your meats, like Roasts chicken, Prime Rib. Conventional bake is best for baking.

A:  Thanks Sansten. I was actually looking for how the oven operates in the different modes. So far, I have not been able to determine any difference in operations between them.

            by|Jan 29, 2021

A:  Thanks for the response ippete. However, the lower oven has no broiler burner, so I don't see how the 'convection roast' mode, which operates in the lower oven only, can involve using the broiler.

A:  Hi Patriot892, you described the difference between convection and conventional modes, but not the difference between convection baking and convection roasting. Do you know what the difference between the latter two are?

A:  Convection bake uses the oven fan and the lower bake burner only. Convection roast uses both the lower burner and the broiler burner or at least that is how it is supposed to work. I have only used the roast feature once or twice and never looked inside when using it. Roast does seem to brown the item being cooked more.

                  by|Jan 29, 2021

A:  Convection oven the heat is more consistent it is blown around by a fan which makes it more consistent around on what you are baking were in a traditional oven you could have hotspots and different temperatures.

Q:Am I the only one who cannot get this to fit? I just recently built a house, the gas line is in the floor, however because of the backing of this stove it cannot be pushed back and is now 4 inches off the wall and looks hideous.

A:  You are not the only one. Mine is the same way. However, the stove it replaced also stuck out so I guess this is somewhat normal depending on the house and the stove. My counter top also comes out on either side of the stove about 3 inches.
