      Answer This Question

A:  Hey there. We can help with your LG portable A/C switching to Dry Mode automatically after running on Cool Mode for a few hours. To troubleshoot this, please try the following steps: 1. Check the Temperature Control: Ensure that the set temperature in the Cool Mode is not too low, which may trigger the unit to switch to Dry Mode. 2. Clean the Filter: A dirty filter can affect the unit's performance. Clean the filter as per the maintenance instructions provided in the user manual. 3. Check for Airflow Restrictions: Ensure no obstructions are blocking the front of the air conditioner, such as curtains or furniture. For more questions, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport. Q:Does the exhaust vent tube need to be installed to operate in dry mode?
              by|Jul 26, 2024

              Answer This Question

A:  Hey there John! Thanks for asking us this question. To operate the LG LP0721WSR in dry mode, the exhaust vent tube does not need to be installed. To do so, you only need to remove the drain plug and install a 1/2" inside diameter garden hose into the continuous drain port, placing the open end of the hose over a floor drain or bucket. This allows for dehumidification in high humidity without requiring an exhaust vent tube. ^Anthony
