Q:Can the lights be dimmed through the app. For example when you bring up each light it gives the kelvin number and also 100%. Can that be turned down to say 75%? If so how?

A:  Hi there Teddy, thank you for your question. Yes, our app shows both the Kelvin and the brightness % and both of these can be adjusted in our app simply by turning the dial to adjust to the temperature and brightness that best suits you. Q:What happens if my WiFi network goes down. Will the lights stay lit?

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi Teddy, thank you for your question. As they are wifi lights, you will need wifi to control them. If your lights are already on and your wifi goes down, the lights will stay on, but you will need your wifi to come back on if you wish to power the lights down (or, you can always cut the power to them manually, if needed). If you have any further questions, please reach out over at support.lifx.com. Thank you.

Q:Will these power on to the last configured state if connected to a transformer that turns off during the day?

          Answer This Question

A:  Hi there Jared, thank you for your question. In our app, we have a setting called "Power Restore" which you can toggle on or off. When toggled on, the lights will turn back on according to their last known state. EG: If powered off in the app, they remain off. If powered on in the app, they turn on using the same colour and brightness they were last set at. If you do not set up power restore, when the lights lose and regain power they will turn back on at 100% brightness and on white. It's up to you to set this up how you prefer. We hope this helps!

Q:Can you daisy chain these together or do they each need their own plug? I am thinking about setting up a series of them along a walkway.

            Answer This Question

A:  Each light comes with a low voltage converter which you can use to plug into an outdoor low voltage transformer. Please see this article here for further information on the set up you may require, depending on how many units you wanted to connect and the distance of the units to the transformer: https://support.lifx.com/hc/en-us/articles/21391860268951-LIFX-Low-Voltage-Calculator.
