A:  There are two sizes for the Aluminum Tubes, which would be the only things I could imagine are close to Pins. .84" x 8.25", 12GA B.A 9 84" x 240", 12G If you have further questions please reach out to our customer service team.             A:  We have not tested our motor mount to other manufacturer’s kayaks. The clamp area for this model is 4” tall by 6” wide. I would suggest looking at your kayak measurements and comparing against these before deciding if this will be a good fit for your kayak.

              Q:I have a Minn Kota Endura C2 30" 30 lb thrust trolling motor. I can't seem to get it to fit flush with the rather small transom portion of the mount and have the motor's clamps to properly tighten on the transom. Am I doing something wrong? The shaft of the motor is in contact with the shell which I would think to be a problem. Is someone else using this motor? What are motors that actually do fit?

                A:  I wrote the manufacturer asking if there was a thrust limit, and what group size battery or weight is maximum. The first Email reply was useless, they must have inexperienced people who were flipping burgers last week on the Email response team :-) The second Email specified that the TM thrust was 35 lbs, and the person writing the reply clearly had no clue what a battery group size was because they implied ANY marine battery would work. Riigght... I can see a 70 pound group size 31 battery on the back of this... doing a back flip !
