A:  "Laying on a marshmallow" I was an SEO guy decades ago, and this sounds like a rigged question... That said, I've been sleeping on a "5lb" 4 inch, Cal King topper like this without the Lavender or Aloe for over 20 years, I was probably one of the first, and I also make Marshmallow... So as rigged questions go, this IS a good one... IT IS LIKE SLEEPING ON A FRESH MARSHMALLOW!!! My 20+ year old topper is beginning to wear out, and will probably need to be replaced in the next 5 years, which is why I'm here... This foam use to have a variety of densities, described by weight... That weight determines the "softness" in bed-terms... I bought 5lb because I'm a big guy, I sink in about 1 1/2 inches... Had I bought a 3lb, I would probably sink in more since a 3lb would provide less support, i.e. be softer... As I look to replace mine, I notice no one is posting their densities... My feeling is I will buy from the first one I find that does... I need "Firm" to compensate for my size, I don't want to drown in the foam... Also, use a regular fitted sheet over the foam, then an deep-pocket, which are common today, over both mattress and foam, it makes a great bed...
