A: Power button needs to be turned on to produce the ice. If you stop the machine and have not used up all the water, the water just stays in the pool until you run the machine again. I just leave the cover in the up position or towel out leftover water to prevent odors.

A: Water left in the reservoir will continue to recirculate in the ice making process. Would not recommend letting the water stay there over night. Would suggest dumping the water wipe the reservoir clean and add fresh water every day.

A: Nothing, super easy. It just sits on the counter top and plugs in. Fill it with water and it starts making ice within a few minutes. We really like this for our lake house.

A: It may be related to an issue with the main board or ice sensor assembly.

A: Two reasons this may happen, in my experience with 4 of these over the years: 1) low water level in reservoir 2) the water uptake tray may have a crack that prevents it from holding water. Check where it connects to the main unit on each side.
