A: about 36 cubic inches.

A: The outlet is nowhere near 36" the other answer gives. It is a puny 6" x 2.5" for 15 square inches. That's a huge problem when the vent is advertised for 6" duct inlet that is 28 square inches. The outlet cannot flow a 6" duct.

Q:Hi, can this be used as an intake vent for roof, located down close to soffit. My house doesn't have access to sofitt vents. Several of these would work good strategically located. Thank you

A: no its to put on roof you can run 6inch duct to bottom of wood & cut through hole & secure duct to wood& seal off
