A:  Depending on the temperature cooking and the outdoor temperature, whether the wood is wet or dry. It will be approximately 2 hours of constant smoke. There is no way to add wood without opening the full door.

A:  If yiu soak in water 30 min, it takes mine abt an hour or a little longer to burn. Evidently every smoker is different, though.

A:  Hi Mike, we don't have any recommendations on external meat thermometers for this unit as we do not manufacture any.

A:  The Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker cover will fit the body. However, it will not reach the floor because of the legs. Please note, these covers are weather resistant and not weather proof. The unit should be stored in a covered dry location for longevity.

A:  Best to get a cover I wouldn’t advice smoking in a downpour considering it’s an electric smoker. I have smoked in a drizzle so NO u don’t have to turn it off just protect the connections and do purchase a cover for it.

A:  I have used mine while it was raining with no issues. That being said I took a 1/2 lb. cold cut container with a snap on lid (cut a hole on one of the narrow sides to accommodate the the rheostat connector) and mounted it upside down to protect the temperature dial from moisture. I store it inside when not in use though,.

A:  No, it is not weatherproof.

A:  No wheels. There are two well positioned handles that enable the smoker to be comfortably lifted and moved by one person - I'm 67. I keep mine in the garage and have to carry it +/- 30' each time I use it.

A:  No wheels, just the handles on either side. It's not too heavy so not too difficult to move.
