A:  If the roof is flat then yes. Try it out, and if it doesn’t work return it.

Q:The pictures only show this from the top. What's on the bottom? How does it hook onto the ladders (or whatever you have at the ends) to keep it from falling off while you're on it?

                  Answer This Question

A:  Top and bottom are both the same. If you ant, you can tie the plank to your ladder.

                  by|Sep 21, 2023

A:  The ends are flat, they do not have hooks, similar to a wood plank. Just place the plank on a ladder rung or some other support. If you’re concerned about sliding movement put a clamp on. The price is right for it’s build and durability.

A:  There are no "hooks". The ends are just as they appear in photo. If using with two ladders propped against an house, you will need 2 "horizontal hook on" brackets onto which the "plank" is laid. These are shown and sold, separately. If using between 2 ladders facing one another the plank is laid on a rung of each ladder. To secure you would need a "tie" of some kind, ex. rope .

A:  It does not "hook" on the ladders, you set it on the step of a ladder on either end or you you can use ladder jacks (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Werner-Short-Body-Ladder-Jack-AC10-14-02S/100664521) to use it on extension ladders. The plank just lays on any support, gravity keeps it in place.

A:  No, but the bottom is rough and will not slip. It grips the ladders well. Both top and bottom are the same.

A:  Hi, there is no need to tie the plank. There is an anti-slip material in between that avoid it slips. As long as you follow the safety instructions that come with the product, you should be ok.

A:  It’s a nine foot plank, last time I checked that’’s 108 inches. As far as securing I’m not sure what you mean. I have used it between ladders with no securing. It is well made and better than a wood plank. Very sturdy, but not for anyone on my 600 pound life. I’m sorry if I couldn’t help anymore.
