A:  They fit ok for me. But you will be tempted to keep a lot of consumables in there too

A:  They both fit, with 2 batteries and some 3" wheels with the arbor. I use them for cleaning castings when i service equipment. Found the 2 inch wheels are more compatible for these grinders. The charger is kept in my truck with all the other chargers i use.

A:  Yes, any M12 battery will be compatible with the Milwaukee vest.  However, as the 4.0 is larger and a little heavier, it may affect the wearing comfort.

A:  Yes all m12 batteries are compatible with all Milwaukee m12 tools and jackets

A:  Yes, all m12 batteries work with the vest. 

A:  I am not sure the diameter of the motor, it uses a 1/4 collet. You have to loosen and pull the collet out. I didn't know and almost returned, I thought the 1/4 would not fit, after examining I pulled it out and had no problems. I only use 2" and have never had it stop when grinding steel and my lawn mower deck. Hope this helps, the smaller battery only lasted about 15-20 minutes full grinding. But my larger stand up battery last a lot longer.

A:  The head is about 1.8" so you have a little room with a 2" disk. I have a 3" disk on mine and it's fine till you get low on battery. Seems to eat them pretty fast.
