A: There is no screw. You can drill into the side near the top and put your own screw if you wish. This is used instead of a rectangular box such as when access is needed to a single valve. When the ad says box, it is referring to the round black part.

Answer This Question
A: I would not try and stack 2 boxes. I would suggest using a short length if plastic pipe of the desired diameter. You can use just about any type of plastic pipe or even a piece of aluminum rolled into a circle and riveted.

A: Yes you can stack them.

A: It would have fit over my existing valve box and would have raised the height by a few inches.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Our round valve boxes are not designed to be stacked on one another in order to increase the depth. They will nest together, but the height difference once they are nested is small.

Answer This Question
A: If just in yard sure, but would not be good in a driveway or sidewalk. If town inspected, would fail because it is printed on plastic sprinkler valve box. Actually used one my self for a clean out cover.

A: Yes it can, I would just fill around the pipe with pea gravel about 2 inches below the clean-out top.

A: Yes. That is what I used it for. The lid locks on so your mower doesn't lift it up when you mow over it.
