Q:Can I purchase replace top pavers? Ours have cracked and are regularly breaking off in big chunks. They’re easily set back on top but when they fall as we’re using the pit it poses a safety risk.

Q:Can this pit be placed directly on concrete or block out with a form when pouring the concrete pad?
by|Apr 13, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: You should pour your concrete pad and put the firepit on top just in case you decide to move the firepit one day. Be sure to add extra sand or stone in the center of the firepit so the hot coals do not damage the concrete pad, as concrete is not indestructible. This way it is a simple streamline look and you dont have to worry about using forms etc.

Q:Owned for 2 years, why has the stone cracked and crumbled? Shouldn't it have lasted a lot longer? What kind of warranty do you have?

Answer This Question
A: Please email sales@nantucketpavers.com with photos of your firepit with the damage. There could be a few reasons why it may do such a thing; steel ring not protecting the top caps, fires were on top of the caps, the installation or ground that the firepit is on - does it have free drainage material underneath the firepit to allow drainage from rain and snow to avoid freeze/thaw issues, is the patio pitched the correct way so the firepit is not sitting in water puddles? We can research further if you send over photos and your contact information and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
