        A:  The 47" posts are the Country Ledgestone profile which will only work with "True" 4x4 (with converter) or 6x6 Posts. Yes, they can be cut and still look great. If you are only going up 15 inches, it should, if cut correctly, take care of 3 Posts.

          A:  These Post Covers do not come with a base per se. They are designed to sit flat on a concrete slab or wood deck.

              Q:Our mailbox post is more like 6” x 6”. Can this be resized? Or is it available in a smaller width?

              A:  The 8 x 8 inches is the outside dimension. This particular post fits a "true" 6 x 6 inch post. If you are trying to cover a "standard" 6 x 6 post which is literally 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, we have the Slatestone Profile that works for these.
