I would recommend our Black Lace Elderberry for edible berries! To produce berries, you'll need a Black Beauty, Instant Karma, or Laced Up elderberry as a pollinator. I hope this helps! Its soft pink flowers bloom in early summer then make way for elderberries, which can be harvested for making wine and jam. I hope this helps! A:  I have had this for 2 years now. In the spring the leaves emerge red then turn yellow. They appear to stay yellow throughout the season.

A:  Leaves yellow and yellow/green, berries and stems are red in color. Very pretty perennial and requires no real maintenance.
