A: Not as tractor crankcase oil. Check your tractor manual for the viscosity required for hydraulics. This may very well work. I use it with my hydraulic log splitter. Check the viscosity requirement to get the best use for you tractor.

A: Yes. This fluid seems to be just like John Deere Low Viscosity Hy-Guard hydraulic fluid.It is rated ISO 32 which is the same as the John Deere Low Viscosity fluid. This is the recommended fluid rating for small tractors in colder climates.
