      Answer This Question

A:  Roundup Weed & Grass Killer is a non-selective vegetation killer. It will kill almost any green plant that is actively growing. After applying Roundup Weed and Grass Killer lawns may be planted from seed, sod, sprigs or plugs 7 days after the application. Technically you can replant after 3 days, but waiting 7 days ensures a more complete control of existing weeds.

          Answer This Question

A:  Pets, such as cats and dogs, should stay out of the treated area until it is thoroughly dry. This is to minimize exposure to the product and also to avoid tracking of the product onto other plants, which could cause damage. Although these animals may eat a small amount of grass, they do not consume enough of the product to cause a health hazard.

Q:We recently had a freeze and all of the st Augustine has browned. I can clearly see the weeds now. Could I apply this to the lawn in the areas I see crabgrass, clover, or dollar weed?

            Answer This Question

A:  Roundup Weed & Grass Killer should not be used on dormant lawns. It is very difficult to determine when lawns are truly dormant. May kill desirable grass if it is not truly dormant. If lawn is truly dormant, then weeds are unlikely to be actively growing so would not get the desired weed control.

                  Answer This Question

A:  To open the Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Pump N' Go, stabilize container by holding between your feet. While holding the pump handle push down slightly and turn left, the pump will be out of the locked position. The first time it is opened it will be difficult to open because for shipping safety the top is put on very tightly at the factory, also can be more difficult when pressurized especially if fully pressurized. If container is pressurized, you can let it set for a bit and allow the some of pressure to gradually release and then try to open.
