A:  Hello, Unfortunately, I can not give you an exact measurement as to how big the drains are on the S-Grip mat. However, the holes are very small and may be able to work for your small pet. A:  The channels are small we use it for our dogs and they are comfortable it’s the smallest we could find we got the blue and are happy.

A:  Hello Simon, Unfortunately, we do not recommend using the S-Grip mats for this. Although our S-Grip mat has drainage holes, it lies flush with the floor so water will get collected in the holes with no way to drain out. We kindly recommend our Rubber-Cal Paw Grip or Rubber-Cal Dura Chef mats as they are better options because they are slightly raised and do not lie flush with the floor so water can drain out.
