A: Hello Austin,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Rubber-Cal S-Grip Black PVC Drainage Mat. We appreciate your interest in our products and are here to assist you.
The S-Grip mat is not designed with interlocking capabilities. However, if you wish to connect two mats together, you can use a simple solution like Zip Ties. By threading Zip Ties through the drainage holes on the mats, you can securely fasten them together, providing a stable and extended surface area as needed.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help you find the best solutions for your needs.
Sincerely,
Robert Morris

Q:The concrete around our pool area is extremely slick. Could I use this around our pool as a safer place for people to walk when they are wet?

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Yes, the Rubber-Cal S-Grip Blue 3/16 in. x 4 ft. x 10 ft. PVC Drainage Mat can be used around the pool as a safer floor for people to walk when they are wet. The drainage holes keep water off the surface, increasing traction. The drainage holes are intended to drain away excess liquids and even filter solid debris particles such as sand, rocks, and dirt. Since this product is made from PVC, it has the added benefit of being able to resist contact with oils and greases.
Sincerely,
Robert Morris

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Yes, the Rubber-Cal S-Grip Black 3/16 in. x 4 ft. x 5 ft. PVC Drainage Mat can be used under steps in above-ground pool. The drainage holes will keep water off the surface to aid with slip resistance. These drainage mats are made from PVC and get their name from the S-shaped design matrix on its body. These mats are ideally suited for use as longer length runners in wet and slippery areas such as outdoor walkways, kitchens, poolside decks, shower rooms, and bars.
Sincerely,
Robert Morris

Q:What style would you recommend if we wanted to line the outside of an unground pool with this material and how you recommend holding that material down to wood without damaging the mats? Mainly for nonslip and hold against winds.

Q:How big are the drain channels? We're considering it for the bottom of a small animal cage and don't want her feet to go through. Is there a photo with something for better size reference, like a quarter or someone's hand?

A: Hello,
Unfortunately, I can not give you an exact measurement as to how big the drains are on the S-Grip mat. However, the holes are very small and may be able to work for your small pet. I sincerely apologize that we could not provide you with additional photos for you to see the material's sizing.
Sincerely,
Robert Morris

Q:Would this be comfortable for a dog's paws? I'm looking for something to put on my wooden dog ramp for traction but that would allow drainage. I want it to be comfortable for my dog, though, or else she'll never use it.

Q:Hello, can this mat be used under a hot tub? We have a ~550gal hot tub in a concrete pit and it like to put some mats underneath to facilitate drainage under the tub (there is a drain in the bottom of the pit).

A: Hello Simon,
Unfortunately, we do not recommend using the S-Grip mats for this. Although our S-Grip mat has drainage holes, it lies flush with the floor so water will get collected in the holes with no way to drain out. We kindly recommend our Rubber-Cal Paw Grip or Rubber-Cal Dura Chef mats as they are better options because they are slightly raised and do not lie flush with the floor so water can drain out.
