A: Thank you for reaching out! While our Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Sprays may be applied to exterior surfaces, we do not recommend it for surfaces that will be in prolonged contact with or immersed in water. If other portions of the waterfall that will not be in prolonged contact with water need to be painted, we would recommend first priming with our Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

A: Thanks for reaching out Diane! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray Paint can be applied to metal, wood, concrete and masonry. Textured Spray Paint cannot be applied to floors, it will not support foot traffic. We have many products that can be applied concrete floors, give us a call at 888-683-5667 so we can hear more about your application and provide product recommendations.

A: Yes, I think it would work very well. Two light coats with a day in between will give you a great stucco like appearance.

A: We appreciate your interest! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Textured Spray Paint is intended for use on metal and wood surfaces. To ensure adhesion on plastic, the surface will need to be primed. We recommend Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer Spray. Make sure to apply in a test area first as some plastics may be manufactured in such a way that hinders paint adhesion.

Q:Can it be used on bathroom walls

A: I am not sure about that as I used it on an outdoor statue. I have used this several times to restore myncement statue back to its "new" look and it works beautifully. I would definitely try.it on something like a poster board first to see the texture and what it woud look like. It definitely looks like rough sandy stone( as if you sprinkled beach sand on wet paint) if that is the look you want.

A: Thanks for reaching us, Sherry! We actually do not recommend applying aerosol coatings on interior applications such as walls. The Rust-Oleum MultiColored Textured Spray Paint is designed with outdoor surfaces in mind. The concern also is the overspray and ventilation that you would need in order to do an application as such. We suggest trying to find a product designed for walls to hopefully meet your needs. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1

Answer This Question
A: No, this is not recommended to be used on plastic.

A: Glad you asked! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray Paint cannot be applied directly to plastic (PVC), the coating will not adhere properly. The PVC pipe can be primed with Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer and then top coated with the MultiColor Textured Spray Paint (or any other Rust-Oleum paint). Universal Bonding Primer can be applied to plastic (PVC).
