A:  When overseeding, it is recommended to mow grass short prior to applying seed, so that seeds reach the soil easier. After mowing, loosen top of soil in thin areas.

Kentucky Bluegrass: 7-14 days (potentially up to 21 days) Annual Ryegrass: 4-7 days Perennial Ryegrass: 5-10 days Fine Fescue: 7-10 days

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Contractor's Mix should only be used on lawns with bluegrass, rye grass and fescue. This seed mix should not be mixed with warm season grasses.

A:  Birds will sometimes be attracted to grass seed, so we do recommend that grass seed should be covered with 1/4 inch of soil.

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Contractor's Mix is a blend of bluegrass, rye and fescue seeds and should only be used on lawns with those grass types.

A:  We recommend you sow the seeds evenly using a Scotts handheld, drop, or broadcast spreader.
