A: The holes on the TP37 are sized for a 8d common nails (0.131" diameter x 2 1/2" long), 8dx1 1/2 nails or the SD#9x1 1/2 structural connector screw. There is not a bolt or lag screw recommended for this connector. Thank you!

A: Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
“ The TP37 has the standard G90 galvanized finish which provides a low level of corrosion protection and is only recommended in dry service with limited treated wood. Please see the Corrosion section of our website to determine the recommended finish for your specific application based on environment, type of treated wood being used, chemical retention, etc. Thank you! Answer This Question
A: CJ,
The TP tie plates are intended for flat wood-to-wood applications. More information would be needed to determine connector options for your condition: what is the size and material of the pole, what is the demand load, etc. I would suggest discussing these details with a rep at your local Home Depot store who can point you to possible connectors.
Thank you!
