A: I'm not a licensed electrician, and not familiar with RV wiring, so I don't know if a tandem breaker is ok to use in a RV.

A: Depends on if your Box is a Homeline series box.
Take a breaker out and look at the bottom of the breaker.
Match it up with other breakers in Home depot.

A: It may. Take one out that you know will and compare the locking lug area to make sure that it fits. I have used this in newer sub panels and older panel boxes. The older panel boxes I needed remove some of the plastic on the breaker in the hot lug area, for it to seat fully. Since the older "fat" breaker allows for 2 hot wires, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able place those 2 separately in the same space. I'm not an electritation, but a DYI over 50 yrs, that has followed the code and when in doubt I look it up and/or call several cert elect that are friends.

Q:What is the difference between a Square D breaker (15 Amp), number DP4075 and a M-1393?
by|Aug 28, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hello Bob,
DP4075 is the UL issue number for a QO/B or HOM breaker. This does not identify the breaker. In order to identify the breaker we need to know the number of poles, ampere rating and panel to tell what breaker can be used.
Suffix 1393,is a combination of suffixes 1212, which indicates a 1A/1B aux contact, and 1039, which indicates a 12 Vdc shunt trip.
