A:  The lid does not lock on the basic model. There is a Step 2 Deluxe Package Delivery Box that comes with a hinge mounted latch that you could put a padlock through.

A:  No, but we purchased hinges to attach the lid to the base so it doesn't blow away.

A:  No - it does sit securely over the top though - overlapping securely to prevent rain/snow etc from getting in. But the lid does not lock. If you are trying to prevent someone from opening it up I wouldn't bother as anyone would could take the whole thing away anyway unless you are also going to bolt the box down to the house or ground. Its more for weather protection - at least that is why we purchased one. We like it so far !

A:  No. The box lid just sits on top. It's snug but cannot be locked without making holes or getting creative.

A:  Is there a way to attach the cover to the box so it won't blow away? Do you sell this item that the cover is attached? This parcel box will be useless for me unless a cover will stay on for me or it can fill up with rain water or snow.

A:  Just on front on the lower part. Letters in black as well. I put gold stickon letters on top lid to be easier to read.

A:  Yes it’s molded into the unit but it’s the same color so you might want to paint it in a contrasting color
