A:  Really works well to keep Puppy contained. Easy to use latch so I can go in and out through the gate easily.

A:  No, it's not recommended for a 62-inch opening.

A:  Yes however, there are parts that might weather over time.

A:  I have used this gate both inside and outside. I live in a high humidity area, Hawaii, and had no problem with rust.

A:  yes, we use it outside exclusively, but we do not leave it outside for longer than one or two days at a time. we will carry it in and out but the hardware is outside. you do have to be careful anywhere you use it because you do need to step over the bottom piece in the gate opening.

A:  I don't see why you couldn't use it for a deck. We only use it inside but outside should be alright. Marie

A:  I'm not sure what you mean? Is this a term that is in the instructions for this gate? This gate is not narrow enough for a smaller door opening. Your door must be at least 36 inches for this gate to work. I know nothing about "Autocross". Sorry!

A:  If you are referring to the auto-close feature, it operates by using spring-loaded hinges to swing closed and lock.

A:  There are additional vertical sections you can add. Also, at each end top and bottom there are screwing width adjusters. We have 2 of these. Highly recommended!

A:  Yes you remove sections to fit your width. It’s very easy we have two in our house. Easy to remove and reinstall.

A:  The mounts on the ends, that secure the unit, are adjustable.

A:  It comes with two extension pieces. You put one or both on to get as close to the size of you opening and then tighten the spreader bolts.

A:  When the door is opened, the walk-through opening is 20 inches wide. However, the latch at the top sticks out a little, and the measurement across the top (to include the latch protrusion) is 18.5 inches.

A:  how wide is it?

A:  The gate opening has a 17.5 inch width. You can use this measurement to see if your particular walker will fit.

A:  Unfortunately it's not. It's an awesome gate, but looking at it, I just don't think it's quite big enough for a walker.

A:  The opening is only about 20 inches wide. Someone with a walker would not be able to "roll" through, even if the walker was very, very narrow, because there is a support bar connecting the right and left side of the unit running along the bottom of the opening.

A:  The walk-through gate on mine is 17.5 inches. I do not know how wide an average senior's walker is. It is a fantastic product. We own 2. They install quickly and securely.

A:  The opening is 18" with a couple spots that are down to 17.5" sure to small pieces of the latch sticking out. It also has a support that runs across the opening right at the floor but it's less than an inch high.

A:  Dont think so, the walk through opening is fairly narrow.

A:  Painted steel, would hold up well for quite while, it might rust a little but wouldn't hurt functionality for awhile.
