A: Hi there,
This lake screen filter is designed to be used on the intake side of a jet, well or sprinkler pump, not the discharge.
This has not been tested on the out flow. As a guess, I would say it could cut the flow by 1/4 to 1/3rd and without knowing the pump's output or discharge size, this is just a guess.
Thanks

A: you can connect a hose to the water system run a pump. If you wanted to hook a hose up to it, you would need the proper fittings, but i dont think it would work right as a hose is not very rigid. I have 1 1/4 PVC tubing connected to it.

A: Hi Paul,
The filter has 2" pipe thread so you would need to get a 2" X 3/4" bushing and a 3/4" x garden hose adapter to attach this to a hose but it is very doable..
Thanks

A: Hi Hal,
Yes it will clog the lake screen but it will take a lot to clog it. If you were to check and clear it periodically, you would be fine using it.
Thanks
