A:  Yes, it has an overflow.

A:  Kate, yes this sink does have an overflow.

A:  These can be cut but I don't recall the instructions. Swan has information on their website or you should be able to reach them by email.

A:  Rich, I am so sorry. This item will likely not fit in this space.

A:  Ours measures 42-5/8" so if you have the right tools to knock off just 5/8", then I don't see why not.

A:  Update! I just received this in an email from Swan: "As far as sealing, I can help you there!  We don't necessarily recommend sealing Swanstone.  However, using certain products can add a little more protection between cleaning.  Turtle Wax Ice has been proven to help out on our surfaces, as well as Barkeepers Friend. These can both be purchased at most hardware stores."

A:  I have had this sink top for about 2 years and have had no issues with stains. I do not know if it can be sealed or if there is a product that would work for that purpose.

A:  I sure wish you could. I'm not sure though. We have another one of theirs in a speckled pattern that has a much smoother/tougher surface, but the white one has developed pits along the front edge of the top and the front edge of the sink and and it's difficult to get stains out. My wife just recently told me she doesn't like it after I complained, and she said she didn't say anything because she thought I liked it so much! I'm going to do a little digging and, if I find out, I'll submit an update/new answer.

A:  I have never sealed it. It is in a bath used by a 5 yo and a 7 yo with all kinds of stuff spilled on it and it never stained.

A:  When I asked they said to use Turtlewax to seal, can't recall if they were more specific about which kind. They also mentioned Barkeeper's Friend, which I think meant for cleaning, as I don't know that they have a sealer.

A:  I hadn't even thought to do that, but we've had no staining issues whatsoever with it.

A:  Karen, thank you for your question. Turtle Ice Wax is often used between cleaning. Bar Keepers Friend has also proven to be effective.

Colors are hard to quantify and descriptions would vary based on who would explain it. A:  Thank you for your interest in Swan's Ellipse vanity top and matching side splash. We have two options available: Part #VT02103SS.130 or Part #VT00022SS.130. We are currently working to get these sidesplashes online but both side splashes can be special ordered through your local Home Depot store. The difference between the two is that the VT02103SS.130 is 3/8" thick and the VT00022SS.1302 is 3/4" thick.
