Q:Can I use this to place under mulch (as opposed to cardboard)? Are there any chemicals that might leech into the soil?

A: Many of our consumers purchase Builder's Paper or Brown Rosin Paper as both are made of recycled materials and do not contain chemicals.

A: I wouldn't use it under mulch as the mulch will just disintegrate the paper i would imagine within months of putting it down. You might want to consider a weed barrier which is much more durable.

Q:If you use this to cover floor joyst on deck will it stop water from being able to get through

A: No this will not stop water from penetrating. Primary purpose of this product is for masking of paint during spraying. It does have multiple uses though but stopping water is not one of them.

A: no tape on rolls. and be wary of ordering online for store pickup. if it is not in stock, they may have problems with the transaction. I was charged $71.40 for paper rolls. 5 rolls were not available. I got 15, not 20. Charged for 20.
They were supposed to issue a $19.31 credit. It was not yet done to my credit card. I called the store, I called the main office. Not done yet.

A: No, you purchase the masking tape separate. I like to use painter's tape first for a clean line. Then install the painter's paper to protect the surrounding area.
