        A:  Yes, Tectite Push-to-Connect fittings may be buried underground. If burying underground, make sure to wrap the fittings in a silicone based wrap like Nashua Tape 1 in. x 3.33 yd. Stretch and Seal Self-Fusing Silicone Tape in Black: Internet #100206050, Model #1743082, Store SKU #267011.

            A:  No. Do not use use for an ice maker for instance. Even though both are 1/4 in, the openings on this are larger. Would need compression fittings.
