A:  Hi, It takes 10-15 minutes for the zone to activate.

A:  Hi, The Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller Haze 15ft zone of protection does not have a battery. It is powered by a butane (gas cartridge).

A:  Hi, In breezy weather, place the unit upwind of your location so that the repellent is carried by the wind into the area you want to protect. Thermacell may be less effective on very windy days, although mosquitoes aren't typically out when it is very windy.

A:  Hi Tanya, I would try Home Depot online. Each retail may vary slightly in price. You may have some luck looking online.

A:  Our products heat the repellent which rises, so it's good to have them placed lower for the most complete protection.
