Q:I live in a very windy and cold area ny state. Is it possible to leave this in my large pond without it blowing off? Or being damaged by ice?

A: You would have to determine if this needs to be anchored to the shore. We always recommend removing the system during the winter. Ice can be damaging.

Answer This Question
A: 24 inches on center - basically a spine running lengthwise running down the center of the dock. Center stiffener is the same dimensions as side boards. No issues with stiffness of completed dock section. Primary issue with dock kit is that it is supplied with galvanized nails. I replaced with stainless steel screws and many others have.
