A:  Hey Patrick, You can get the carpet bounded (finished edge) through your local Home Depot, but it would be needed to be sent out once you purchase the carpet from us. I've personally never heard of any professional carpet service that can bound the carpet on-site, they typically need to be sent to the place where it is done. We are no exception to this, so call your local Home Depot and speak to a flooring specialist who can give you pricing and time leads on binding carpet. Joseph

A:  Hello dot and thank you for your question. The TrafficMaster Fallbrook 12 ft. Carpet can only be installed over concrete, gypcete, pressure treated wood, or backerboard. The manufacturer says that the carpet cannot be installed directly over your existing ceramic tile. Best wishes on your project.

I spoke to the manufacturer who told me that the TrafficMaster Fallbrook carpet is not suitable for a boat application since there is no attached padding to the carpet. The carpet requires a rubber type backing for installation and this would not be advised on a boat. Best wishes on your project.
