Q:What is the best method for cleaning this filter?

A: We recommend spraying out the filter from the cleaner side first than turn it over and spray into the dirty side. This will let the dirt and lint fall out of the filter. Shake out the excess water and lay it flat to dry. Do not dry in direct sun light. You can put the filter back into your system damp just not soaking wet. Wash out your filter monthly. Thanks

A: I have never had to clean the filter. I placed it over the intake side of a box fan. I covered the blue filter with the highest MERV filter sheet I could get. When the fan is turned on, air gets pulled through the fan. We were using spray paint to decorate Christmas crafts. We were very surprised to see the amount of paint particulates were filtered by my makeshift apparatus.

Q:This filter is not the one that is available. See pic included to see what comes when you order this filter. The NaturalAire is more rigid and is not as flexible as the True Blue one.
