A:  Assuming you are buying 8” wide, and your area is not broken up into smaller spaces, I would figure on 25sf per pkg of 6 boards. That would mean a minimum of 48 packs. Due to cutting waste and possible bad boards, you’d better add a couple packages to that. The free shipping helps tho.

A:  Lynn, The installation instructions make no mention of this, but as a reference, we would encourage you to go to the Information & Guides box, located a bit below the initial product information, on the right. Within the box, you will find a few options to click on, but Installation or Assembly is what you need to select.

                Answer This Question

A:  We did not treat the boards before installation. We painted them without first priming and have not had any issues. The product looks just as good today as it did back in April, 2017.

                by|Nov 29, 2019

A:  It is ready to prime and paint, how ever the knots may bleed through if not treated. If it is important that the finish not show any knots and be smooth and seamless, then knots should always be prepped prior to prime and paint.

A:  Yes it can how ever your going to want to use a stud finder and nail it into the studs as the paneling may not hold the weight of this wood if it is attached to the paneling with construction adhesive.

A:  Yes how ever your going to want to nail through the paneling and sheet rock directly into the studs or cement or brick wall. as the paneling and sheet rock are not going to support the weight of a wood wall well.
