Q:How to make smell go away? The initial smell was an awful chemical smell that dissipated after 2 days and now the smell is so strong of a wood/clay smell I can’t explain it . I have been ventilating the room but my entire house smells of it.

        A:  Thanks for reaching out, Chris! Varathane Oil Based Floor Finish Polyurethane can be applied using a good quality, natural bristle brush or wool applicator, a roller is not recommended. A minimum of 2 coats are required, recoat only when previous coats have dried clear and feel hard and are no longer tacky to the touch. Lightly sand between coats before re-coating. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
