Q:There is a new law in California pertaining to fire mitigation. There are to be no combustible items within 5 ft of the house. Some insurance companies have required homeowners to relocate shrubs etc. Is this product compliant?

Q:I just bought several bags of this rubber mulch product, and have opened the bags and spread it out. Now I read it is very flammable, with high flames and temperature. I live in California where we have had wildfires. Is this even safe for such areas?

A: Thank you for your question! The rubber mulch is sold across the US. That being said, it is being utilized in many different climates without issue. The flashpoint for the product is also 610 degrees Fahrenheit.

A: Where latex should not be an issue, we cannot guarantee that every tire discarded to manufacture our recycled mulch will be 100% latex free.
