A: I use these in a rectangular box-shaped filter that I have hung in my workshop. I don't think the dimensions match what you're looking for.
A: Hi Bunky, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we do not offer an air filter in that size on Homedepot.com. We apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
A: They aren’t really washable. From my experience, the inner one doesn’t need to be changed as frequently as the outer one. The outer one lasts a long time too.
A: Not sure if they are washable, I suppose you could. I just blow mine out with an air compressor and I can do that a couple times. I usually replace mine once a year.
A: Basically these are back up filters to the primary filter which is installed in front of them if you change the primary filters often and do not let them clog such that they fail and let large dust and dirt penetrate to the backup filters they can last for 6-12 months before they need to be changed. Inspect them every time you change the primary filter and check on how dirty they are, only change them when you can see they need to be changed. Normally they will look clean with a slow change of color as they become dirty with the very fine partials that get thru the primary filter
A: These filters are not washable. I make the filter last longer by periodically taking it out of the unit and vacuum out the dust particles etc. If you're doing heavy cutting on a table saw where you're creating heavy dust, I'd replace the filter every 2 months.
A: Mine are installed in a home made 3 stage air cleaner. The first stage is just a furnace filter, the second is a 5 micron filter. The unit has been in use about 9 months under moderate use. The first stage filter has been changed frequently, about once a week. The second stage is due for change but the 1 micron filter is ok. When it needs attention I will use compressed air (out doors with a dust mask).
A: The dimensions of the product are as follows: 17" x 10" x 1".
A: Yes, this will fit a Performax filter.
