A: Hi! If you are using bulk propane, you would need to purchase a propane model grill and a bulk LP kit. If you have any questions about installation or want to confirm that the model you are interested in will work with your current setup, please reach out to us at reviews@weberstephen.com and we would be happy to help. A: Hello Kasia, with the side table and side burner removed, this unit measures approximately 31" wide. Please be aware that using the unit without all components installed, including the side table and side burner, will void the warranty on the unit, as it has only been designed to be used in the original, factory intended design. Thanks.

Q:Is there heat control for the rear burner (rotisserie) or is it only 1 setting once it is turned on?

Answer This Question
A: There is heat control on the rotisserie burner. I also use the outer burner on each side along with the rotisserie burner and will sometimes turn the rotisserie burner off to finish cooking with just the two outside burner.
That way you do not burn the skin on chicken.
Love this grill!

Answer This Question
A: I don’t think so and to get it up and in there will be tricky. It is incredibly heavy. My suggestion is to have it delivered to Home Depot, and have them assemble it and deliver it to your house.

A: Hi Bipper! You likely purchased the now discontinued Summit S-420, which lacks many of the features of this model. Thanks!
by|May 5, 2023
A: I doubt you have the Summit series at that "1/2 price" mark. I paid $1899.00 for mine. Pricey? Yes. But, it should be my last grill. More than likely your grill is in the Genesis line of grills. The Summit is their Top of the Line grill... and thus, comes with all the "bells and whistles". The Summit comes with: A built-in rotisserie and infrared ceramic rotisserie burner, their "Sear Station" burner for added heat to sear steaks, a LED grill light on the handle to light the grill when open, lighted control knobs, built-in smoker box with a separate burner and the highest BTU burners Weber offers. To name a few.
In other word... a Lexus rather than a Toyota. Same builder... but with different added options.

A: You must have bought a different model. This model has never been available at half the price

Q:I would like this grill because I want the side burner for sautéing. But I don’t want the rotisserie. Is there a model available without the rotisserie?

Answer This Question
A: I believe there is. The rotisserie assembly can be used or not and does not interfere with grill use when not assembled. Good to have when needed though.

A: Hello JF, the Summit series are only offered with rotisseries. You may want to look at our line of Genesis II LX models, as they come with side burners, but do not come with a rotisserie. Thanks.

Answer This Question
A: Hello Vince, Please be aware that this model is only designed for use with North American fuel sources. Taking it to Australia will render it inoperable, and it is not possible to safety modify the unit for use with Australian fuel sources. Additionally, the warranty on the unit will be voided, and Weber Australia would not be able to provide you with any assistance for the unit. The box measures 119.38 cm x 77.47 cm x 132.08 cm, and it weighs approximately 131.088 kg. Thanks.

Answer This Question
A: Hello Tony, the gauge and grade of stainless steel varies by component. All components carry a 10 year warranty, excluding normal wear and tear. Thanks!
by|May 5, 2023
A: I would guess 16-18 gauge used throughout, i have owned this grill for about a year, it survived its first Alaska winter with zero wear. I’m not sure about the grade of stainless used, but will say it isn’t any worse than the 304ss I have laying around the house. Overall I love my grill and don’t have any remorse over the purchase.
