Q:With the doors open, or as they open, does it require more width than the dimensions of the fridge? For example, this is shown as a 28" wide unit, do the doors kick out any wider as they are opening?
I don't see a dimension given for width with door open.

A: Hi Space, this 28 in. W 16 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator in White, for dimension's and location instructions, we would suggest page 1 of the Dimension Guide, which will show a diagram and the needed requirements for space. It can be found at: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/f4/f4492f81-c8cc-416a-92e6-ea685c20ef20.pdf

A: The answers do not answer the question. Simple question, with the doors open 90 degrees, what is the WIDTH overall at that point? I see the ventilation suggestion, but I want to know actual WIDTH of the unit with the door open. It may very well be 28", I just want an answer. I would think Whirlpool would know, but in a chat and a phone call, they do not. Some of their specs give a width dimension with the door closed, but I want one when it is open. (Again, Width, not Depth)
Per the link, Whirlpool states: "If you are installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave enough space on the
hinge side to allow for the door to swing open."
So what is the "enough space" dimension? If there were any in stock to look at, I would look, but no stores stock this item that I have found.

Q:will you remove old refrigerator with purchase and delivery of a new one?
by|Jun 19, 2015

Answer This Question
A: Yes, they will. I think, however, there might have been a $15.00 charge to remove your old one (or move it to another area of your home). It was worth the money to have the old one taken away.
