Q:are these perforated? I want to use with a graco pressure roller, thanks

Answer This Question
A: Our Wooster Pro Woven Cover will not work with the Graco Pressure roller as the core is not perforated to allow paint to go through the core into the fabric like the Graco roller will. If any further assistants is needed or any other questions we welcome calls to Wooster Brush customer service at (800) 392-7246.

Answer This Question
A: My shed workbench is a WORK bench, therefore I don't put any finish on it....al Natural....takes a long time to really damage it. I have had mine 10 years and still no replacement needed. Lots of nice dings, saw marks, hammer dents, nail marks...that's what it is for

A: It can do at least 60 square foot total bench
by|Apr 1, 2022
A: A "work" bench should not be painted. Paint would soon be destroyed. I use MDF for by bench tops, too many issues with plywood de laminating or cover the plywood with hardboard.

A: Depends on what color you want or the finish. You could use a good urethane or any color exterior paint. Ask the paint person at home depot as they're very knowledgeable.

A: For plywood, I would use a 3/4" or 1" nap roller as the surface is a bit rougher.

Q:9 in. x 1/2 in. High Density Pro Wool Roller Cover I can use this roll to apply polyurethane

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you could use the 1/4" Pro Woven Roller Cover for poly. The best choice would be the Wooster Candy Stripe Mohair Roller Cover 9"X1/4" (#304213308) - mohair releases 'tacky' coatings better.
by|Apr 7, 2021
A: I would not use this for poly. Look for a roller or brush specifically rated for applying polyurethane.

A: The 14" x 1/2" Wooster Pro Woven roller cover is sold separate from the roller frame or an extension pole, if desired. We would recommend our 14" Sherlock roller frame (see product #204354026). If looking for an extension pole, the 14" Sherlock roller frame is compatible with both our standard Sherlock extension poles and our Sherlock GT Convertible poles. Our Customer Service Department is always available to help you choose the perfect applicators for your project. Please feel free to contact Wooster Customer Service at 800-392-7246.

Q:What roller can I use to paint over popcorn cielings?

Answer This Question
A: We would suggest a using a thicker nap on a rough surface like a popcorn ceiling. We might suggest trying a knit like the Wooster Super/Fab 3/4" (see product #304294136). This is a high production knit that will pick up and release a large volume of paint, and provide excellent coverage.
by|Sep 22, 2020
A: You will want a thick roller. I would choose 3/4”
I have used 3/4” on popcorn paint before

Answer This Question
A: A better suggestion for application of this coating would be the Wooster Pro Surpass cover, SKU 1002-311-752. It's sold in a handy 3-pack and is 9" x 1/2" Nap. Another option would be a 4" x 1/2 knit in the Wooster Pro American Contractor Fabric, SKU 1002-213-346. Both of these covers are available online and at select stores.

A: For the store nearest you, check out homedepot.com
In the search box put store location.
I am sure they are listed in the phone book.

A: This roller is not stocked at all store locations. If your local store does stock it, you'd find it in the paint department contractor bay. You could always order it online for store pick-up of your choice.
