A:  I don't see any reason why it shouldn't. I would think that it would depend on the surface itself. If it is rough, this roller should work just fine, but if the surface is pretty smooth, I would use a roller with a shorter nap.

A:  The Wooster Pro Surpass can be used to stain/seal a cedar deck. However, we suggest using a 1/2" nap instead of the 3/4". A larger nap size could result in laying down too much stain. Most stains require you to apply several thin layers. We always suggest checking the directions on the coating being used to ensure you get the best possible results. A:  Yes, the Wooster Pro Surpass is an excellent choice for fiber cement side. The Surpass knit will pick up and release a large volume of paint and the larger nap sizes will help get into all the nooks and crannies of the siding. As far as the lining is concerned, I have never really paid any attention, because it's never been a concern, and I have used probably 40 or 50 of them.
