Q:is a shed-resistance roller the same as a lint free roller
by|Apr 27, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Lint free
by|Apr 28, 2021
A: Generally speaking, this shed-resistant knit fabric sheds much less than most knit roller covers (still not recommended for higher sheen coatings), whereas a lint-free roller cover fabric should shed 'next to nothing'.

Q:Instructions on paint says 1/2” nap semi rough, will this work for epoxy pool paint

Answer This Question
A: Yes, this will work. The Pro Woven 3-pack (#203247628) may leave a slightly better finish.

A: Used this roller for epoxy paint on a slide for pool . threw it away when finished.
by|Apr 12, 2021
A: I don't see any reason why it shouldn't. I would think that it would depend on the surface itself. If it is rough, this roller should work just fine, but if the surface is pretty smooth, I would use a roller with a shorter nap.

Q:SHOULD I USE THIS TO STAIN/SEAL CEDAR DECK
by|Jun 23, 2020
3 Answers
Answer This Question
A: Yes, you can use this to stain/seal a cedar deck.
by|Jun 20, 2022
A: I would use a shorter nap, unless your wood is really weathered
by|Jun 28, 2020
A: The Wooster Pro Surpass can be used to stain/seal a cedar deck. However, we suggest using a 1/2" nap instead of the 3/4". A larger nap size could result in laying down too much stain. Most stains require you to apply several thin layers. We always suggest checking the directions on the coating being used to ensure you get the best possible results. Answer This Question
A: Yes, the Wooster Pro Surpass is an excellent choice for fiber cement side. The Surpass knit will pick up and release a large volume of paint and the larger nap sizes will help get into all the nooks and crannies of the siding. Please feel free to contact Wooster Customer Service at 800-392-7246 should you need any help finding the perfect applicators for your project.

Q:Is this good for rough surfaces, such as ceilings and lighter textures on walls?
And is the inside paper or plastic lining?

Answer This Question
A: Yes
by|Feb 19, 2019
A: Yes, good for rough surfaces, but if you use the same roller cover longer than about 3-4 hours, it will have a tendency to compact the nap, and you will need to change roller covers. As far as the lining is concerned, I have never really paid any attention, because it's never been a concern, and I have used probably 40 or 50 of them.
