A:  Hi Tina, this Cabinet is designed with a metal frame, for shipping purposes a white protective film covers the rimmed border. The white covering should be pealed off after installation to expose the silver border. For additional assistance please contact us at 1-800-892-3986.

A:  It's a tough plastic material, but all you need is a power drill or if you don't have one you could use a box cutter knife to start the hole. Try to mount it on studs if possible.

A:  Great question! To cut through drywall, you could use any of the following tools: A razor knife, keyhole saw, reciprocating saw, oscillating multi-tool, spiral saw or a track saw with dust collection. Thank you

A:  Glass covered with a thin cheap reflective foil material, that will probably last about 4 weeks tops, if the glass doesn't fall out first.

A:  It’s a glass mirror, lightweight, but glass. It has metal trim. Shows well and holds up very well in rental units.

A:  No, it is a real glass mirror surrounded by a silver metal frame. However, the housing of the main medicine cabinet which gets recessed into the wall, is plastic. It is still a decent product and very cost effective. One must be careful to mount it correctly N St. so that it operates properly. Other than that it is a real easy install and a decent product for the price.

A:  I mounted mine with screws. You have to make sure it's into studs or have them plastic screw cover things in the wall to screw them into

A:  You simply trim out a hole in the drywall adjacent to the stud. Preferably, the stud that will line up with the hinge side of the mirror. Slide it in to the hole and attach it with screws to the inside of the stud surface.

A:  I would not suggest that. I believe it is a piano hinge and pop riveted to the frame as well as the body of the mirror

A:  No, there are no pre-drilled holes. It will depend on where your wall studs are placed and if there is a back panel of your wall to be able to screw into. It is a fairly easy install to be honest.
