A:  I wouldn't do that. Yes - unless your powerwasher is a lot gentler than mine - it will pull up the infil. I use a leaf blower for the leaves and a regular hose nozzle for the dog waste cleanup.

A:  Thank you for purchasing our zeolite turf infill product. We do not recommend power washing directly, as the force of water may move or displace the zeolite granules. However, after drying you should be able to rake any of the displaced product back into the turf without issue (and without your doggo's smells on it!)

A:  Thank you for purchasing our zeolite artificial turf infill product. After the initial application the zeolite will settle in to the turf and should not be readily visible.

A:  It shouldn't be visible. My turf is inch and a half and we don't see it. Great product for neutralizing dog urine!

A:  Our zeolite infill is mined in the Southern California desert and is all natural and OMRI certified for organic use. It's 100% safe as both a soil amender or even as the only grow media. We've seen some great results with many different plants and vegetables!

A:  Zeosource zeolite infill is used for a few reasons on artificial turf. A couple of them you may be interested in: One is for appearance, as the infill helps the blades remain upright and "natural" looking. Without it your turf may drop or bend. The other is for odor neutralization. If there are no pets, animals, etc. in the area this may not be necessary in your case. We recommend you discuss with your turf installation experts on the best route to take for your specific application needs.

A:  We recommend 1.5-3 pounds of infill per square foot of turf. The amount used depends on your specific turf usage. For light use you can go with a lower pounds per square foot application; for a more actively used turf, or when there may be pets using the area, a higher pounds per square foot may need to be applied.

A:  I just put in on top of the turf. I do have plain sand that the turf was put on top of first.

A:  Our Crushed Natural Zeolite for Artificial Turf Infill is intended as an infill material, meaning the top of the turf (just like spreading seed or fertilizer over a lawn). On its own, it is very effective at odor control and neutralizing as well as helping the turf blades "stand up". You can mix our natural zeolite with a variety of base materials, including crushed rock, etc.. We recommend you consult with a local professional landscaping or turf installation firm for your specific application requirements.

A:  Our Zeosource product is a 20-mesh size and is ideal for artificial turf infill and other landscaping applications. Zeolite for pool media is generally a smaller particle size (40 mesh) required for filtering in that type of application. We recommend speaking with a pool expert before using any product in order to avoid possible damage to your pool filtration or other systems.
