A: Hello mc,
Thank you for your interest in the self-adhesive vinyl film. The product has not been placed on a range hood so we cannot guarantee how long it will stay nice looking. If you decide to give it a try, please consider the venting areas to make sure they are clear and not covered up. Your DIY idea is creative and we wish you all the best with your project. Regards,

Answer This Question
A: I would think so. The film itself is durable, and the adhesive bonds really well.

A: Hello Seujo,
Thank you for your interest in the self-adhesive vinyl film. The product has not been tested on foam board but seems like it would work just fine. If there is a flat surface on the board, it should be able to adhere. If it is direct onto foam, there may be difficulty with the adhesion. We hope your DIY project is a success and look forward to receiving your feedback. Regards,

Answer This Question
A: I used it on shelves to blend with counter so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I have really pleased at how well it holds up as mine has been on for a year and looks brand new. Just make sure to rub over it several times so it sticks really good.

Answer This Question
A: It's a better quality and thickness than the normal contact paper. I used it to cover a piece of plywood that I was using as a temporary kitchen base cabinet until the formal counter top arrived,

A: This is "sticker" thickness. Follow the instructions, I was able to apply the first 6", which I did not get straight & I was able to remove it & re-apply it straight. Take your time & use a straight edge of some sort to cut it on the back grid lines. Good Luck!
*If you're just covering a screw hole, cut the height to a shelf & it will hide the edge line.

A: Very thin. Before applying this on the kitchen shelf, I sanded the surface to smooth out with 220 sandpaper and wiped out. But apparently, I didn't clean out all sands completely. After applying this, I noticed the very small bumps with touching. So I put another layer on the top of it. Then it came out very smoothly.

A: It's thicker than normal shelf paper and sturdy enough to put on the side of a jukebox and looks excellent. I am going to order it again for another jukebox.

A: I think it would work good on cabinets. More of a Matt finish matched the golden oak cabinets in my rv perfectly.

A: Hello GlassGirl,
Thank you for your interest in the self-adhesive vinyl film. Most of the films are designed to look natural, therefore, the oak would be produced in a matte finish rather than high gloss. We appreciate receiving your feedback.
